SILVIA MINEVA
Owner/ Platinum Stylist

Silviya is originally from Bulgaria. She came to the United States in 2005 with a dream to open an upscale salon and spa. She got her cosmetology license in 2004 from the Charleston Cosmetology Institute and passionately created Silvia Salon and Spa in 2011. To help build her dream salon and spa she attended Inspiring Champions business classes. Silviya has participated in various styling competitions and traveled to the Orlando, Atlanta and New York City international hair shows. She believes in the power of continued education and is always working to improve her techniques.

MICHELLE MACE-NAZON
Gold Stylists

Growing up in New Jersey, Michelle always had a passion for hair design. She decided to pursue this passion while living in Myrtle Beach by attending Strand College of Hair Design earning her certificate in Cosmetology, as well as other awards for excelling in various hair and makeup competitions. After completing her certification, Michelle did an apprenticeship under a Paul Mitchell educator, helping expand her knowledge along with her skill set and providing her with a newfound love for the Paul Mitchell brand. She enjoys keeping up with the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry by attending hair shows around the country. Michelle moved to the area in August of 2016 and is excited to be able to grow as an artist, share her knowledge, and create amazing hair alongside the fabulous team here at Silvia's!

AMY THOMAS
Gold Stylists

Amy first fell in love with the beauty industry while working as a salon assistant. She attended the Charleston Cosmetology Institute and became a licensed cosmetologist in 2011. Amy has attended various beauty conventions across the across the country and prides herself on being on the cutting edge of the latest hair trends. She came to Silvia’s in 2014 and has been enjoying sharing her passion for beauty with her clients.

MEGAN SWATT
Silver Stylist

Megan became a licensed cosmetologist in Ohio in 2002. She completed a two year apprenticeship at one of Cleveland’s top salons specializing in color and cutting. Megan moved to Charleston in 2007 where she worked at a local resort and became exceptionally skilled in bridal styling. She came to Silvia’s in 2014 and has enjoyed more opportunities to continue her education through in-salon education and traveling to international hair shows.

APRIL MIDDAUGH
Silver Stylist

April attended the Paul Mitchell School of Charleston and graduated in 2016 with her Cosmetology license. Since then April has attended various hair shows throughout the country including New York, Florida and Las Vegas. She loves all aspects of the beauty industry including her passion in HotHead Tape-In Hair Extensions. She continues her education to keep up with the latest trends and techniques while expanding her knowledge in the industry.

ANGEL RICE
Salon Coordinator

Angel is a South Carolina native having spent her most of her life in the upstate and her college years at Clemson University. She relocated to Charleston after college and has held multiple leadership positions over the years. She enjoys the relationships built through customer service and promoting healthy, happy work environments for employees. She stumbled across Silvia Salon and Spa and found immediately that she wanted to join the amazing group of kind, talented souls here. In her spare time, Angel is usually baking, reading, or adventuring with her boyfriend and pup.
